Governance Arrangements
Our Trust and Governance – DSAT
We are proud to be part of the Diocese of Sheffield Academies Trust (DSAT), having joined in February 2015. As one of 20 growing schools within the Trust, we benefit from a collaborative network where schools support and challenge one another to ensure the highest standards of education and care.
We are committed to working in partnership with DSAT and fellow academies to deliver the best possible outcomes for all our children. Through shared expertise, resources and a strong sense of collective purpose, we continue to grow and improve together.
DSAT was established in October 2013 as an independent charitable company by the Sheffield Diocesan Board of Education. Its mission is to create a family of both Church and non-Church academies - welcoming schools that choose to convert voluntarily as well as those requiring sponsorship - within a culture of mutual support and shared values.
The main contacts at DSAT are:
Mrs Alison Adair - CEO
Mr Huw Thomas - Chair of Trustees

Our Local School Board
At our school, DSAT holds ultimate statutory accountability, while the Local School Board acts as its local partner, providing essential support and oversight on the ground. Together, they collaborate closely to ensure that Thrybergh Fullerton maintains the highest possible standards and continuously strives for improvement.
For a detailed overview of the roles and responsibilities of both DSAT and the Local School Board, please refer to the Scheme of Delegation available on the DSAT website.
