This year, we have started a new language journey at Thrybergh Fullerton!! We are starting to explore Spain, both its language and its culture. All children have started from scratch and are now confident in saying short greetings and forming simple sentences using the vocabulary they have learnt during their lessons.
Simple sentences
In Year 5 we have combined our knowledge of numbers and animals in Spanish to create simple sentences. "Aqui hay tres tortugas." "Here are three tortoises."
Greetings
Hello, my name is .... and you? Hello, my name is.... How are you? Okay and you? Okay. Bye. Bye
Year 4 Greetings
Hello. Hello. How are you? Very good and you? Very good. Goodbye.
In Spanish club we had a fantastic flamenco lesson from Mrs Thornes!
